Some estimates give about 2.5 m at 10 years, or 2.5\u20134 m at 15 years (variable depending on conditions and training).<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1981\" data-end=\"2004\">Exposure<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2006\" data-end=\"2298\">Gentle sun \/ bright partial shade. The plant is often described as fairly tolerant of sun and wind, but a position sheltered from dry wind and scorching sun (afternoon) improves foliage quality, especially in a container.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2553\" data-end=\"2588\">Origin &amp; history<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2590\" data-end=\"2894\">\u2018Hoshi kuzu\u2019 is described as a chance seedling from \u2018Kamagata\u2019, selected at Maplewood Nursery (Virginia, USA), and introduced by J.D.
