To preserve the cultivar\u2019s character, it is recommended to remove these shoots as soon as they are spotted, because they can be more vigorous and take over.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1338\" data-end=\"1360\">Colours<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1703\">\n<li data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1495\">\n<p data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1495\"><strong>Spring<\/strong> : purplish-brown foliage variegated with pink and white\/cream (intensity varies with exposure and vigour).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1612\">\n<p data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1612\"><strong>Summer<\/strong> : often more bronze-green; variegation may still be visible as lighter\/pinkish touches.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1703\">\n<p data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1703\"><strong>Autumn<\/strong> : pinkish-yellow to orange tones (sometimes stronger depending on conditions).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1723\">Habit &amp; vigour<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1725\" data-end=\"1925\">Weeping, spreading habit, forming a supple dome (typical dissectum). Slow to moderate vigour.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1927\" data-end=\"1953\">Indicative size<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2122\">Order of magnitude: often around 1 to 1.5 m tall, with a spread that can reach 1.5 to 2 m (varies with age, conditions and graft height).<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2124\" data-end=\"2147\">Exposure<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2418\">Light shade \/ bright partial shade recommended. A sheltered position (limited drying wind) and a soil that stays fresh but well-drained help keep the foliage clean and limit scorching.
