The effect is often most spectacular in spring and early summer, when several shades coexist on the same tree.\nNote: this cultivar is different from \u2018Elmwood Spreader\u2019 (a spreading\/weeping dissectum). Here, this is an \u2018Elmwood\u2019 with a more upright habit and a reticulated effect.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1271\">Colours<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1607\">\n<li data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1428\">\n<p data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1428\"><strong>Spring<\/strong> : lime \/ light-green background, often nuanced with pink or paler tones, with very visible dark green veins (reticulated effect).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1547\">\n<p data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1547\"><strong>Summer<\/strong> : greener to moss-green foliage; the reticulated effect may remain visible but is often more subtle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1607\">\n<p data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1607\"><strong>Autumn<\/strong> : golden yellow to orange, sometimes amber.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1627\">Habit &amp; vigour<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1712\">Upright habit (small tree), rather vertical silhouette. Moderate vigour.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1714\" data-end=\"1740\">Indicative size<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"1860\">As a guide: about 2 to 2.5 m around 10 years, and often 2.5 to 3.5 m eventually depending on conditions (variable).<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1862\" data-end=\"1885\">Exposure<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2090\">Bright partial shade or gentle sun.
