    Fall red tips

‘Fall Red Tips’ is a Japanese maple with very bright green foliage at budbreak, often chartreuse with a fine purplish margin. In summer, it turns a true green, then offers an original autumn display: the leaves first turn golden yellow, then develop red tips along the edges of the lobes (“red tips” effect), and may sometimes shift towards a stronger red. A fresh-looking, changeable cultivar, well suited to small gardens and container growing.

    Filigree

‘Filigree’ is a Japanese maple from the Dissectum group, with extremely finely cut foliage. It is remarkable in spring for its pale variegation and a “veined / reticulated” effect (a light background crossed by darker veins). In summer, the foliage often becomes greener, and autumn brings yellow to orange tones. A slow-growing, compact cultivar, superb in a pot and in a small garden.

    Fireglow

‘Fireglow’ is a red Japanese maple with an upright habit, appreciated for the stability of its colour: it starts pink-red in spring, becomes burgundy / dark red in summer (often with good colour hold in hot conditions), then lights up again in bright red in autumn. Its name comes from the spectacular backlit effect, when the leaves seem to “glow”.

  • First ghost

    First ghost

‘First Ghost’ is a reticulated Japanese maple: a very pale leaf blade (creamy white to soft yellow) crossed by dark green veins, often highlighted by a pink to purplish-red margin in spring. In summer, the contrast softens toward greener tones, then autumn returns with golden yellow to orange shades. Semi-weeping, elegant habit, suitable both in containers and in the ground.

    Garnet

‘Garnet’ is a Japanese maple from the Dissectum group, with very finely cut foliage in a deep burgundy reminiscent of a “garnet” shade. Its habit forms a cascading dome (often wider than tall), highly decorative in a pot as well as in the garden. The colour generally stays dark all summer, then intensifies into a brighter red in autumn.

    Geisha gone wild

‘Geisha Gone Wild’ is a spectacular variegated Japanese maple, with irregular leaves mixing bright pink, purple, cream/white and green. Highly decorative in spring, it often keeps a colourful look through the season and finishes with warm pink to violet autumn tones, sometimes orange-purple depending on conditions. A selection known to be more vigorous and more stable than ‘Geisha’, ideal for containers and small gardens.

  • Golden falls

    Golden falls

‘Golden Falls’ is a very strongly weeping Japanese maple, close to ‘Ryusei’ in silhouette, with one key difference: foliage that starts very orange in spring, then shifts to a bright golden yellow. In autumn, the palette returns to orange and red tones.

    Goshiki shidare

‘Goshiki shidare’ is a weeping, laceleaf Japanese maple (Dissectum group) with highly sought-after variegated foliage, mixing spring tones of pink, white/cream and purplish-brown over a greener base.
