‘Verkade’s Winter Gold’ is a highly sought-after Japanese maple for its multi-season interest. In spring, it produces large, deeply cut bright green leaves (Matsumurae type). In summer, red-orange new growth may appear, contrasting against the green foliage. Autumn finishes the display in golden yellow to orange.
